Question by Appi Hippi: What are the programing languages which may be of use to me in a software development company?

I want to know what programing languages will be of help to me if i'm planning to step into software development.
I know c/c++ and the very basics of assembly language.
Also if you can tell me how they may come in handy and something about the current trends in the software development field, that'd be great.

Thanks. I guess i did not put it right.
I was asking if there are any other languages i can learn apart from the ones i already know which will be beneficial to me.
Software development as in providing software solutions to companies, and making softwares for them.
