Question by Brett Thorpe: How much downloads does Xbox live use each time you log in?

Well, i was wondering how much downloads Xbox live takes each time you use it. One of my friends really wants to no so he can play xbox live. He is on BigPond Broadband with a 12GB download each month. Can someone please help?
